Fathers Life After Separation Survey: Psychology of Fatherhood

Help Us Support Fathers: Take the Survey on Life After Separation

At Support Fathers Rights, we believe that every father’s voice matters—especially when that voice has been silenced or overlooked due to separation, custody loss, or parental alienation.

Right now, an important academic study is underway that focuses on men's psychology and more specifically, the psychology of fatherhood.

The research aims to explore the emotional and psychological experiences of fathers who have been separated from their children, whether due to divorce, custodial interference, or systemic barriers in family court.

The study has set a scientifically calculated goal of 150–170 father respondents, based on a power analysis using G*Power (effect size d = 0.32, α = 0.05, power = 0.90). While that may sound modest, reaching this many fathers—especially without institutional funding—is a real challenge.

That’s where you come in.
